It’s that time of year. Time where guys and gals get to dress up in fancy clothes and get all dolled up for a night they’ve been waiting all school year for. Ah, the excitement! So I’ve had the honor of of being surrounded by all this fanciness for a few fine folks, and next weekend is a slew more, but for now, I’ll share these gorgeous models with you. I have to say, I’ve really enjoyed these.
Recently we celebrated our twins 9th birthday. No. 9! I simply can’t believe that nine years have come and gone, but boy, have we made some memories. Those of you who know me, know that I’m a planner… like I start planning my kids’ birthday party theme a year in advance. And since both of our twins love sports, we were super excited about this year’s theme – an all star baseball bash! We decided to team them up against each other for a wiffle ball game, but unfortunately the day of the party, we had crazy wind, so we weren’t able to have the ball game. But that didn’t stop these two from having fun with their pals. A day filled with everything you might find at the ball field… hot dogs, peanuts, cracker jacks, Big League Chew. So here’s some photos to share. What’s next year’s theme, you ask? Well, I guess you’ll just have to stick around to find out.
Happy Easter! This has been such a blessed one for me this year. It was so nice to have time to really focus on the true meaning of Easter and just really have my mind and heart filled with the spirit of Jesus and that miraculous story that took place so many years ago. I’m enjoying watching as my young children are listening…still and wide eyed…as the season’s activities revolve around the story of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection. Sometimes they are quiet and just take it all in. Other times it prompts them to be very inquisitive. And though I don’t have all the answers, I love that they are asking. After all, we know too, that even the disciples didn’t have all of the answers. But sometimes, it’s not about having the answers. It’s just about BELIEVING.
“He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”
