We had our church Easter drama this past weekend, and it was such a joy to see the church come together in all kinds of way to put on this production. So proud of everyone involved! They did an amazing job! And even though I see this every year, and the story line changes point of view every year, I still tear up thinking about what it must have really been like to have been there with Jesus when He was walking this earth. I wonder what it must have felt like to touch the hem of His garment. I wonder the amazement to see Him bring a dead man back to life. I wonder the sound of His voice, and how the disciples must have just felt to absorb some of His wisdom. What an honor! And though I might not know these things, I do know how it feels to have Him in my life, and there is no feeling in the world that can replace that. Take time to rejoice in this blessed season of our Lord’s sacrifice and resurrection.
“And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest. And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this? And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.”
