Weekly Picture & Scripture

I don’t know why this scripture has come to mind several times this week, but I thought I must post it and let God do His work through it.  There is a time for everything.  We enjoyed a small family vacation a couple of weeks ago, so for us it was a time to relax, have fun and make memories together.  I value these precious times.  You’ve probably heard the saying, “If it’s important to you, you’ll make a way.  If it’s not important to you, you’ll make an excuse.”  Make time for those you love.  You’ll never regret it.  Have a blessed week.

“There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:

a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,

a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,

a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,

a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,

a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,

a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,

a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.”

– Ecclesiates 3: 1-8

God Bless America

O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!

Happy July 4th!
